Martifer Solar installs 5.41 MW of solar PV in Romania
The installation is comprised of two solar plants that will supply 13,000 local households with clean renewable energy. Portugal-based Martifer Solar has increased its presence in Eastern Europe with the recent completion of two solar PV plants in Romania with a combined installed capacity of 5.41 MW. Local company Eurowind Energy A/S commissioned the plants – a 2.03 MW PV farm in Brasov county, Transylvania, and a 3.38 MW plant in Magurele, near Bucharest – with Martifer Solar providing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services.
