Enel Green Power has connected to the power grid the third photovoltaic park developed in Romania

Enel Green Power has connected to the network the photovoltaic park in Colibasi, Giurgiu County, with an installed power of 6.5MW, the third operational solar energy project of the company in Romania. The solar power plant in Colibasi will generate up to 8mln kWh of electricity each year, enough to supply approximately 7,000 households, according to a communique of Enel Green Power, part of Italy’s Enel Group. The company connected in July to the network the first two photovoltaic parks developed in Romania, located in Prahova County, with an installed capacity of approximately 19MW. Thus, Enel Green Power owns in Romania solar facilities with a power of 26MW. The company also owns in Romania wind power plants with a total installed power of 498MW. The Enel Group also operates in Romania in the electricity distribution and supply sector.
