Amec inks Romania services deal

UK engineering player Amec has scooped a multi-year contract from a subsidiary of Austria’s OMV for work in the Black Sea region. The four-year deal with OMV Petrom scooped by Amec’s joint venture with local firm Comproiect-92 is an engineering services framework contract. Amec and its partner will provide project management, engineering, procurement services, construction management and commissioning for existing facilities in Romania as well as on some greenfield and brownfield projects as specified by OMV Petrom.
