Mariana Gheorghe, OMV Petrom: An investment decision will be made to redevelop three other fields

Petrom invests in the redevelopment of two fields, Suplacu de Barcau and Oprisenesti, and by the end of the year it will make an investment decision for other three fields, according to Mariana Gheorghe, CEO of OMV Petrom. “On onshore we have classified all the fields and for the best ones, the most promising in terms of production and resources, we have applied the so-called field redevelopment program. We already have two of these almost ten fields that have reached the phase of final investment decision. This decision has been made for two fields, Suplacu de Barcau, where we announced estimates for the next years of around EUR 200mln necessary, but we also have a field for which we have made such decision, namely Oprisenesti”, Mariana Gheorghe said, quoted by Agerpres.
