KazMunaiGaz set to become national export operator for Kazakhstan’s crude

 

Swiss-based KazMunaiGaz Trading, a newly set-up unit of Kazakhstan’s state-owned oil and gas producer KazMunaiGaz, is expected to become the only crude export operator for crude oil produced in and owned by the Republic of Kazakhstan, a representative for KazMunaiGaz-owned Rompetrol Group said Wednesday. “[Apart from crude produced by KazMunaiGaz] the [volumes] will also include Kazakhstan’s share of crude oil produced within the framework of product-sharing agreements and joint venture projects,” the representative said.
