KazMunaiGaz plans to increase oil supplies in the Black Sea region to 65mln tons/year

 

Kazakhstan’s national oil and gas company, KazMunaiGaz, plans to increase oil supplies in the Black Sea region to 65mln tons per year, by 2020, Talgat Kaliye, Charge d’Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Romania, stated on Thursday at Bucharest Forum Energy 2013. “Kazakhstan will continue cooperation plans with Romania. KazMunaiGaz plans to increase crude oil supplies in the Black Sea region to 65mln tons per year, during 2015-2020, from 25-27mln tons per year, the current level of supplies. Also, the Rompetrol Group will continue investments and development on the Romanian market”, Talgat Kaliyev said. The Kazakh company will also deliver crude oil to Bulgaria, Moldova and Ukraine. “Total production capacity at Petromidia Navodari is 6mln tons per year. The remaining amount of crude oil will be delivered in the neighboring countries, where there is demand, in Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine. Crude oil will also reach Novorossiysk, then the Black Sea”, the official stated for Agerpres.
