EBRD will provide a senior loan for a 108 MW Crucea North Romanian Wind Farm

 

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is continuing to facilitate Romania’s transition to a low-carbon economy through the further development of renewable energy resources.
The Bank will provide a senior loan of €49 million towards the construction, commissioning and operation of the 108 MW Crucea North Wind Farm in the Black Sea region of Dobrogea.
Parallel to the Bank’s investment, Erste Group will contribute €49 million, 90 per cent of which will be covered by the Danish Export Credit Agency (EKF), while Banca Comercială Română (BCR) will provide a €27 million VAT-funding loan facility.
