In accordance with the program for the issuance of regulations in order to transpose the provisions of art. 61 of GEO no. 114/2018, the Regulatory Committee of ANRE approved today, 06.02.2019, the Methodology for establishing regulated tariffs and prices applied by suppliers of last resort to end-customers.

The approved methodology establishes the criteria and rules for electricity supply in regulated regime to household end-customers, as well as for the supply activity in last resort regime provided by suppliers of last resort (SLRs).

Three periods for the application of regulated tariffs have been established, as follows:

• the first period of application  –  1 March 2019 – 31 December 2019;
• the second period of application – 1 January 2020 – 31 December 2020;
• third period of application  – 1 January 2021 – 28 February 2022

By applying the Methodology for establishing regulated tariffs and prices applied by suppliers of last resort (SLRs) to end-customers, prices for household customers benefiting from electricity supply in regulated regime will not grow.
