Order no. 55/2014 for the extension of the validity of Order of the President of the National Energy Regulatory Authority no. 39/2013 setting the regulated tariffs for the provision of natural gas transmission services through the National Transmission System during July 1st 2013 – June 30th 2014 and Order of the President of the National Energy Regulatory Authority no. 1/2014 setting the regulated tariffs for the provision of interruptible natural gas transmission services through the National Transmission System during February 1st 2014 – June 30th 2014

In consideration of provisions of art. 178 paragraph (2) letter a) and of art. 179 paragraph (6) of the Electricity and Natural Gas Law no. 123/2012, with subsequent amendments and additions, as well as the provisions of art. 79 paragraph (3)  of the Methodology for setting the regulated income, the total income and the total regulated incomes for the natural gas transmission activity, approved by Order of the President of the National Energy Regulatory Authority no. 32/2014,

pursuant to the provisions of art. 10 paragraph (1) letter a) of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 33/2007 on the organization and functioning of the National Energy Regulatory Authority, approved with amendments and additions by Law no. 160/2012,

the President of the National Energy Regulatory Authority issues this Order.

Art. 1. – Upon the entry into force of this Order, the Order of the President of the National Energy Regulatory Authority no. 39/2013 setting the regulated tariffs for the provision of natural gas transmission services through the National Transmission System during July 1st 2013 – June 30th 2014, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 391 of June 29th 2013, shall be extended as follows:

a) tariffs for the provision of firm natural gas transmission services and tariffs for the provision of interruptible natural gas transmission services through the National Transmission System, set for the period of July 1st 2013 – June 30th 2014, referred to in art. 1 paragraph (1) and (2), shall apply until July 31st 2014, inclusively;

b) tariffs for the provision of natural gas transmission services through the National Transmission System, set for the period of July 1st 2013 – June 30th 2014, referred to in art. 1 paragraph (3), shall apply until July 31st 2014, inclusively.

  Art. 2. – The validity of tariffs for the provision of interruptible natural gas transmission services through the National Transmission System, set for the period of April 1st 2013 – June 30th 2014, referred to in art. 1 to the Order of the President of the National Energy Regulatory Authority no. 1/2014 setting the regulated tariffs for the provision of interruptible natural gas transmission services through the National Transmission System during February 1st 2013 – June 30th 2014, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 40 of January 17th 2014, shall be extended until July 31st 2014, inclusively.

Art. 3. – The National Natural Gas Transmission Company “TRANSGAZ” – S.A. shall fulfill the provisions of this Order, and the competent departments of the National Energy Regulatory Authority shall monitor their compliance.

Art. 4. – This Order shall be published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, and shall enter into force on 1 July 2014.
