ANRE: the population will pay on average 1.3% less for electricity
Regulated price of electricity delivered to the population will drop on average by 1.3% as of July 1st, the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) decided on Friday. “As of July 1st 2013, the price of electricity delivered to end-consumers will decrease on average by 1.3%”, a communique sent by ANRE reads, according to Mediafax. The decision was made following a half-yearly analysis of the Regulatory Committee within the institution and will apply to both household and non-household consumers which have not opted to change the energy supplier.
