Romanian utility sells 14 small hydropower projects

 

Romania’s Hidroelectrica has sold 14 micro hydropower projects in an effort to consolidate its operations, the state-owned utility has reported. The sale, worth about US$13.9 million, will see four plants go to Italy’s Basikdue SpA, while Romania’s Mineral Oil SRL has acquired three and Three Pharm SRL the remainder.
