Vestas to supply this year wind turbines of 72MW in Tulcea, for a project of Lukerg Renew

Danish group Vestas, the world’s largest producer of wind turbines, has won an order in Romania for 36 turbines with a total capacity of 72MW, which will be delivered in the second half this year to a project developed in Tulcea County by Lukerg Renew. The contract can be extended with an additional capacity of 12MW, Vestas mentions in a communique. Thus, Vestas could deliver another 6 turbines, reaching a total of 42. The park where the 36 units will be installed will include in the first stage a total of 42 turbines of 2MW each. Lukerg Renew bought last year from Italy’s Inergia a project of 84MW in Tulcea County, consisting of 3 wind turbines groups in the localities Dorobantu, Topolog and Casimcea.
