Three local councils in Vaslui have banned shale gas exploration and exploitation
Three local councils in Vaslui have adopted decisions banning shale gas exploration and exploitation on the territory of the communes in question, after an oil company had obtained town planning certificates for shale gas exploration in three blocks in the county. Upon request of the population, fearing an environmental pollution, the local councils in Iana, Tutova and Pochidia decided to ban shale gas exploration and exploitation on the territory of the communes in question.
