Romania could export electricity to Turkey

 

Minister Delegate for Energy Constantin Nita has met his Turkish counterpart, Taner Yildiz, to discuss, among others, the possibility for our country to export electricity to Turkey, offers in this regard following to be submitted by authorities in Bucharest by late this month. Within his official visit to Turkey, upon invitation of Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz, Minister Nita discussed about the regional collaboration in the energy sector, one of the topics being the Nabucco project, the submarine cable between Romania and Turkey and potential energy exports to Turkey.
