Hidroelectrica’s acting managing director was appointed acting MD at Transelectrica Bucharest (BSE: TEL)

 

The Supervisory Board of Transelectrica Bucharest on Thursday decided to revoke Andrei Gabriel Benghea-Malaies from the position of acting managing director, according to a BSE communique. He was replaced by Stefan Gheorghe, currently acting MD at Hidroelectrica. Stefan Gheorghe resigned from Hidroelectrica on Friday. Benghea-Malaies lasted in this office only 4 months, being appointed in October 2012. The new director will hold the new position until the appointment of a new manager under the conditions stipulated by GEO 109/2011 on corporate governance. I.e., until the appointment of a private manager. Stefan Gheorghe was appointed to manage Hidroelectrica in June 2012. Before Hidroelectrica, he was director with CEZ Romania.
