Hidroelectrica to put up for sale the last small hydro-power stations for RON 49mln, half of the initial price

Hidroelectrica puts up for sale, offering a discount of almost half the initial price, by auction, 20 small hydro-power stations, with a total installed power of 16.48 MW.

The 14 packages include assets located in 12 counties, i.e. Bacau, Neamt, Suceava, Hunedoara, Brasov, Arad, Sibiu, Buzau, Valcea, Timis, Vrancea and Arges.

“The value of small power hydro-power stations offered for sale in this stage fell to approximately RON 49mln, thus benefiting from a reduction of over RON 23,262,013 compared to the initial price related to auctions carried out starting with September 2014”, a communique issued on Monday by the company reads.

Bidders willing to participate in the auction must submit the participation documents at Hidroelectrica headquarters by the deadline, 16 May, the public outcry auctionso following to be held during 23-26 May.
