Court invalidates KazMunaiGaz debt settlement in Romania
Romania’s constitutional court has invalidated the law that settles the debt between the Romanian government and KazMunaiGaz (KMG) – the owner of the country’s largest oil refinery Rompetrol Rafinare, Gandul daily announced. The settlement itself can be sealed, the court said, but it has to be signed as a standard contract between the government and KMG and not as a bill endorsed by lawmakers.
