KPMG assessed Hidroelectrica at a 40% lower value in 2012

Independent evaluator KPMG assessed Hidroelectrica’s value upon a request from the Property Fund (BSE: FP). KPMG discovered a value 40% lower of the largest Romanian energy producer, compared with the value at which it had been included in FP assets. Hidroelectrica’s value decreased by almost RON 6.7bn (over EUR 300mln) versus December 31^st 2011, up to just above RON 10bn, according to KPMG calculations, presented in a recent report of the Property Fund. FP owns a 19.94% stake in Hidroelectrica.
