Electroprecizia Sacele (RASDAQ: ELZY) to start building a hydropower plant worth EUR 3mln

Electroprecizia Sacele will invest EUR 3mln to build a hydropower plant at the water catchment and treatment station in the locality. The production unit will use the hydropower potential given by the water fall. “We will cover 60-70% the electricity consumption of Electroprecizia group. It will have a significant positive impact in maintaining competitiveness on the foreign markets and in protecting jobs of our employees”, Electroprecizia manager Dumitru Matei stated. Electroprecizia’s plant will be located at the base of the dam, on the location of an old hydropower plant that was commissioned in 1922 and which operated until the ‘60s.
