Constantin Nita: The Department for Energy could be established by May 15th

The Department for Energy will be legally established by May 15^th, by promoting a Government Decision according to which the institution will be independent from the Ministry of Economy, Minister Delegate for Energy Constantin Nita stated on Monday. “By May 15^th we hope the Government Decision for the functioning of the Department for Energy will be approved. It will be a separate institution, independent of the Ministry of Economy”, Nita said. The official added that the Department for Energy would have 250 employees, including with the personnel from the dignitaries’ offices. “The Ministry of Economy currently has around 700 employees. I plan to have 230-250 employees, including the dignitaries’ offices”, Nita added.
