Enel Green Power Romania to increase its share capital by RON 500mln

 

The registered capital of Enel Green Power Romania, part of Italy’s utility group Enel, was increased late last year by RON 500mln, to RON 2.93bn, through the full contribution in cash of the majority shareholder. Enel Green Power Romania is controlled 99.99% by Enel Green Power International, registered in Netherlands. Prior to this operation, Enel Green Power Romania had a share capital of RON 2.43bn. The company builds and operates renewable energy production unit, having in Romania a total installed power of almost 500MW in wind turbines. Enel Group is present on the Romanian energy market since 2005, when it acquired three energy distribution companies from the state-owned company Electrica SA.
