Transgaz Medias (TGN) posted a profit down 4% in Q1 2013, of RON 181mln, due to a lower amount of transported gas
Transgaz Medias recorded in the first quarter a net profit of RON 181.5mln (EUR 41.4mln), by 4% below the gain obtained in the similar period of the past year, and incomes of RON 456.4mln (EUR 104mln), down 3%, because of a lower amount of transported gas. In the similar period of the last year, the company posted a profit of RON 189.4mln and incomes of RON 471.1mln. “Total incomes (in Q1 2013 – Ed.) account for 96.86% of the achievements in the similar period of 2012, with an underperformance of RON 14.7mln. Failure to achieve the incomes is mainly due to the lower amount of transported gas compared to the similar period of 2012 by about 177mln cu m”, a report of the company submitted on Tuesday to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) reads.
