Transgaz estimates a natural gas demand of 6.347mln MWh in June

Total natural gas demand in June 2013 is estimated at 6.347mln MWh, according to the proposal from the substantiation report prepared by Transgaz and submitted to the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE). The demand on the regulated market is estimated by Transgaz at over 1.161mln MWh, of which 525,398MWh for non-households and 559,621MWh for households. At the same time, demand on the eligible consumers market is estimated at 3.579mln MWh and the technological consumption (to which the structure of gas mixture does not apply) – at 737,828MWh. The natural gas mixture for non-household gas consumers, except for thermal energy producers, will consist of gas from domestic production – 99.5% and import – 0.5%, according to Transgaz’s proposal. In terms of the gas mixture for households and thermal energy producers, ANRE has authorized a structure of 95.3% domestic production and 4.7% imports. The demand authorized by ANRE is 908,074mln MWh. For non-household consumers, except for thermal energy producers, ANRE has authorized a basket consisting of 78% domestic gas and 22% imported gas.
