Romgaz halves profit at nine months

Total incomes of natural gas producer Romgaz Medias (SNG) decreased by 8%, to just over RON 3bn, in the first 9 months of 2013, compared to the same period last year, but the net result decreased by over 55%, to RON 410mln, according to the quarterly report submitted to BSE. International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) bring the profitability decline to -18.46%. Romgaz’s operating incomes decreased compared to the first 9 months of 2012 by over 8%, to RON 2.97bn, and the net result decreased by over 55%, to RON 410mln, according to the report submitted to BSE. Calculations prepared according to IFRS standards show a net turnover of RON 2.58bn, by 9.95% lower than in the first nine months last year, and the profit amounts to RON 797mln, down by over 18%.
