OMV Petrom plans to make public the salaries of company’s management

OMV Petrom (BSE: SNP), the largest company in Romania, plans to create remuneration committees allowing in the future the publication of data on salaries collected by the management. “We consider the creation of a remuneration committee and then make public the salaries. We should see what is the level we should relate to (…) It will be about the remunerations of those part of the Directorate and of the Supervisory Board”, Sorana Baciu, Strategy & Investor Relations Director with OMV Petrom, stated, answering a question about the fact that the company’s wages haven’t been published, as the majority shareholder does. She specified that no deadline had been determined yet for making public the salaries.
