The meeting of Energy Ministers for Nabucco to take place in Bucharest
Romania will host the meeting of Energy Ministers in countries part of the Nabucco project, Romanian Minister for Energy Constantin Nita stated in Turkey. “Turkey is leader in the region. We must cooperate with leaders. We are interested in developing joint projects”, Nita said, quoted by the Turkish media, according to the press agency from Azerbaijan, News.Az. According to Minister Delegate for Energy, the meeting of Energy Ministers in countries participating to the Nabucco project will take place in Bucharest, in late May. The Nabucco project involves the construction of a gas pipeline which will start from the Caspian Sea and bypass Russia, thus bringing natural gas from Azerbaijan to South-Eastern Europe
