The OTC market of the energy exchange, operational as of March 3rd

 

OPCOM, administrator of the Romanian energy exchange, on Friday announced that it would commission the OTC market (with double continuous negotiation of bilateral contracts) in March 3rd 2014. Its new trading system is made with Trayport. The system will enable anonymous bids for concluding transactions for products for the physical electricity delivery defined in the procedure approved by ANRE (the National Energy Regulatory Authority) in August last year, according to an OPCOM communique. Products subject to daily trading are for the baseload, peak hours or off-peak hours electricity delivery, for standard delivery periods of one day, a week-end, a week, a quarter, a half and a year.
