The IPO for the 10% stake in Nuclearelectrica to take place after May 15th

 

The offering through which the state plans to sell on the stock exchange a 10% stake in Nuclearelectrica will take place after May 15th, Minister Delegate for Energy Constantin Nita stated on Wednesday. “It’s for the first time in recent years when we comply with our international commitments. In April we promised to list Transgaz and we listed it. In May we promised to list Nuclearelectrica and we will list it”, Nita stated. He announced, in a press conference, that the state had transferred the entire stake of 15% in Transgaz put up for sale by a secondary offering on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, obtaining EUR 72mln. The Government has committed to the IMF and EC to list on the stock exchange minority stakes in Hidroelectrica (10%, after it exits from insolvency), Romgaz (10%, no later than in October), Transgaz (15%) and Nuclearelectrica (10%).
