Solar Power Energy to build a solar park with EU funds

 

Solar Power Energy, with Romanian-German ownership, has received approval to build, with EU funds, a photovoltaic plant of nearly 5MW. The estimated value of the investment is RON 66,427,300 excluding VAT, of which the maximum amount of the EU grant is RON 46,499,110, according to data provided by the company. The financing application was submitted in April 2010 and the letter communicating the approval arrived in March 2012. The area on which the investment is made is of maximum 12.6 hectares and is located in Teleorman County, the commune of Nenciulesti. The land is the private property of Solar Power Energy Ro SRL. The estimated annual energy production is 6.7GW/h. Currently, the project has the Regional Urban Planning approved, the construction permit is issued, the environmental permit is favorable, it has a connection contract with CEZ Distributie and the establishment permit has been issued by ANRE. The company will auction the works for the photovoltaic park on the Electronic System for Public Procurement.
