Russia’s Gazprom Neft has bought the business of a Moldovan millionaire

 

Gazprom Neft Marine Bunker, the bunker division of Russia’s giant Gazprom Neft, has acquired its first foreign asset, the company Marine Bunker Balkan SA, which operates in Romania’s port of Constanta, according to an official communique of the Russian company. The terms of the deal haven’t been specified, but the owner of Marine Bunker Balkan S.A. was Unicom Holding, a company controlled by millionaire Constantin Iavorski, former Energy Minister in the Republic of Moldova.
