Mihai Adrian Albulescu, appointed as Romania’s representative for Nabucco Committee

 

Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy Mihai Adrian Albulescu was appointed as Romania’s representative for the Nabucco Committee, by decision of PM Victor Ponta, published on Thursday in the Official Gazette. Under the same decision, Rodin Traicu was released from the quality of Romania’s representative in the Committee. Nabucco Committee includes government representatives of the pipeline’s transit countries, pipeline designed to diversify the gas supply sources. Nabucco gas pipeline will transit Romania over a section of 460km, out of approximately 3,300, and our country, through Transgaz, will ensure a funding share of approximately EUR 417mln, as part of the project company. Nabucco project was started by five profile companies, respectively OMV Austria, MOL Hungary, Botas Turkey, Bulgargaz Bulgaria, Transgaz Romania. Subsequently, the Nabucco consortium gained a sixth partner by including the German company RWE.
